Nature and trails of Arkhyz

Arkhyz is surrounded by the mountains of the Western Caucasus: coniferous forests, river valleys, waterfalls and alpine lakes begin almost right outside the village. In the Nature and trails section we write about walks and hikes of different difficulty, about which season to choose for the mountains, what to wear and what to take so that the route stays a good memory.

Many routes are easy to start from Romantik Resort. Hotel Imperial is a 7-minute walk from the Milky Way cable car, which opens views of the ridges, and horse riding is 10 to 15 minutes away. Rooms with a balcony look out on the mountains and the forest, and after a whole day on the trail you can recover in the hotel SPA: a heated pool, a hammam and a Finnish sauna.
